Actually, that might have been fit in. I don't know what sort of invention it is, but in the IC, Ewan said the conclave reconvened and that the sages present celebrated some of the PCs. Surely, there is still time in one of these scenes to present an invention?

We aren't going to play it, but yes, I suppose he'd have had time to show off his invention. If not, there's always next year's convention!

He wasn't important to the situation with the Delapores, but he could have formed a subplot.
