This is a post about "female Viagra".

Medically, this term is misleading. Sildenafil citrate, the active agent in Viagra for males, operates in a purely mechanical fashion by increasing blood flow.

The test drug currently testing for application for females operates in a completely different fashion - by addressing the underlying desire to engage in sex. No blood flow changes are needed.

Note that normal Viagra used on women does not have any noticeable effect on the libido. Also note that according to this BBC News article, the actual female drug apparently can cause people to stop cleaning their houses.

Could be a she. The added female Viagra may have given her the added endurance needed to continue indefinitely.

Yes, I received the same private message. I also noticed that 'LadyXAdmin' was the most recently created account and knew it wasn't a legitimate message from the forum leaders.
I only wish I had retired sooner!

Zapped account. I think it does delete all PMs too.

I haven't seen the message, so I don't know what virus/spyware/whatever it is, but most of the time if you google the name of the site you clicked on, or some text from whatever annoying message it's plaguing you with, you should find some way to get rid of it. I find this to be more reliable than just trying random cleanup programs.

Sorry you got hit, VAN! I'll see what I can do about upping the spambot protection. Seems like they are getting too smart for our current abjurations.

There are several very good free (and legit) malware programs online. You might want to try any, or all, of the following:

Malwarebytes
Spybot S&D
SuperAntiSpyware
Dr. Web CureIt
Ad-Aware

You can read up on each of these through a simple Google search. I'd start with Malwarebytes. If you download Dr. Web and run a full scan, it can take a long time (15+ hours), so plan accordingly. It is very thorough, though.

If you run these and still have problems, you might want to try posting for more specific help on the forums at BleepingComputer.com.

Good luck.

To add to that: HijackThis!. Run that program and save a log, then copy and paste the log in the box here: http://www.hijackthis.de/ then click the "analyze" button. You'll see a list of all your registry entries and startup programs. Any nasty entries will have a red X by them. Go back into HijackThis! and fix all the entries that have a red X. This should help prevent the malware from coming back.
