But in this metafor, we should have here all the same two or three names, or any possible combinations of said 2-3 names.

(BTW, I guess Colonel Stepheno Buendia ran away with Dru ? ;) )

Well done HMB! I'd bet what I have that no-one has given Garcia-Marquez's masterpiece that interpretation before you did!

BTW: The idea of a pigtailed child's corpse carried off by *porn* is weird, to say the least.

And, just to clarify... The custom here in Colombia (Where Garcia-Marquez is from, JIC) is somehow close to that. The male names Walter, Wolfgand (Of the german part of the family), Fabio, Luis and Enrique are repeated throughout my family tree (I'm Wolfgand Enrique), as are the female names Marta, Isabel and Maria (Though the last one is not uncommon at all in Spanish).

I guess I'll have it easy when I have children of my own... Luis Fabio if male, Isabel Maria if female

Oy vey.

What a mess.

I know I'm going to sound really stupid, but I need to ask (from someone who doesn't spend so much time on the internet): AFK?

I've tried everything: A Far Killing.
Almost Fur-King.
Already Fighting Kangaroos.

I have no idead what this means.

I'm glad the fraternity still smithens these unworthy and problematic candidates.

Way to go!

Hey, we're sorry it took so long to ax the guy! It was just bad luck that a pervert found the new board before Admin could sign the rest of us up for full moderator control over it.

FWIW, I recently came across a forum (an adopt-a-pet contact site) that was about 98% sleazy porn promos, thanks to a few months' lack of moderator attention. I think we should applaud Stephen for keeping such garbage out of this site, as well as he does! :D

:) ScS does a formidable job, no question! :)

The only thing I would respectfully suggest is that the Frat shares the admin account among them. One determined spammer/skilled hacker could pretty much waste this page within a day, if no admin was present.

I have defended against similar attacks over at my Wayfarer's Inn, and it was still an effort, even though I was online at least once a day during that period.

We FoS have mod control on all boards.

It's just that this board was recently created, and an oversight made that only admin had mod control on this board. Now it have been corrected!

:) Hope you don't misunderstand me; I was not complaining here.

The amount of spam on the FoS boards has always been minimal/non-existant, and, hey, I guess everyone here can live with having one or two spam threads up for like half-an hour, until the ban-hammer of doom strikes. (Some might even enjoy them...) - I just had a very bad experience with spam myself, banning the IPs there by the dozen. I definitely wouldn't like that to happen on this board! (...On which I strangely spend tripple as much time than on my own one...:))

I personally just thought: "Hey, my group and I are moving to a new place, and there are already some girls having a party with no clothes on! - Things are how things got to be."

I don't know what you're talking about. Every time I change my address that seems to happen.
