Okay, no lethal damage yet, but Benn takes 1 point nonlethal. Benn and Raen are too busy coughing now to do much of use.
But before they got ill, they and Alain did manage to rescue two of three remaining guests.
The boy is missing.

See post.

Alain's whopping 29 hasty search from the spell boost is making a significant difference.

I don't recall if I have arcane lock or knock prepared...
Of course, coughing kinda breaks any chance to actually cast a spell...

Raen is willing to get through the deathtrap door to find the kid. Don't tell me my chances to survive that. If he dies trying to save a kid, so be it.
HOWEVER: He does have a scroll of gust of wind, in case he manages to cast a spell. It could send the smoke away.

Where did Odall got the 2 buckets with water? Sara will get any container she finds and get water inside. She will call the others loudly so she can join them and she will toss the water at the flames when is necessary.

There's a wet drainage canal/open sewer nearby.

It's dirty water, but not raw sewage.

Odell can show her where.

Anybody filling and tossing buckets can make a ''to hit'' roll versus AC 10 to toss the water with good effect against a burning section of the building.
Misses splash the wrong area, fall short, etc.

DEX adj applies.

Anyone focused just on filling buckets and handing them off for others can make an STR check, DC 10, to give the fire-fighting team a +2 aid another bonus.

He can attempt it next round, if you please.
He made the save for that round.

SEARCH SARA

[dice]0[/dice]

Sara finds a full water trough behind the stables, and also a rainwater barrel along one side of Odell's café.

Gust of wind it is, after a short warning to people to get back (since it can fan the fire)

He can make an INT check to so direct it as to do the least to fan the flames and the most to clear the interior.

This is where having a high DEX can pay off...

Not that this is a ranged attack, in effect, so BaB also adds.
