There are two people in front of Kimber, blocking her access. You can't close to melee range. Do you have ranged attacks? What does Pugsley do? He's flying above the paladin at the time.

I am inclined not to commit Pugsley again. He's a scout, really. I tend to commit him in desperate circumstances only.

I took the liberty to roll for Kimber, it was a miss (I accidentally put that in the main thread).
Kimber missed while both the ghoul's attacks hit; 14 damage sister.
However Van made his save vs paralysis.

Nope, no way to attack without AoO. You stood your ground so that the ghouls wouldn't eat Captain Esthenor.
Or at least, Vorj and Thorn did. The rest of you just followed suit.
