Now is a good time to clarify locations and activities of PCs in the later afternoon of the game day.

Where is your dude? What's he up to?

 I don't know yet. He may be with the vistani. He may be with the girls if they try to tango with the stalker.
Can we have a bit to discuss it?

Kat wants to break into that house we found and see what's there, but she won't do it without help, and she would very much like magical backup in case this guy is some sort of werething, so she will be trying to persuade raen and Van to come!

Knowledge Arcana for countermeasures to prepare for a fiendish/hellish opponent.

Not bad.

Consider:

priestly aid (Dorgio. Might be a good idea to tip off the Ezrans, but watch out for possible witch-hunts)

magic circles of binding such as may be found in texts on demonology and summoning rituals

Finding someone ''pure of heart '' who can help. An innocent maiden, for example. Such a person might be able to repel a fiend. But some fiends may have the opposite reaction, and be overcome with the urge to corrupt or devour the Innocent soul...

There are stories of celestial beings, goodly counterparts to fiends. If such creatures truly exist, conjuring or somehow contacting one might help. But what might be the risks and dangers?

holy/blessed weapons are a very good idea. even just the bless spell.

Dorgio carries a half-spear of star-iron. that might help. or not.

Benn's lycanthropic allergen sticker-cane might be useful in finding if a corporeal fiend has any metal-based weaknesses. Volunteer to get that close?

Infernal and/or Abyssal language-- if you don't know one or both, find a scholar who does.

For more, make a Knowledge: Dread Realms roll.
Your guy has that one. Let's see if it helps.

Benn is aware of a theory put forth by Rudolph Van Ricten, regarding fiends.
Beings of such preternatural evil may actually deform the land just be entering it from their outer-hell homes.
This deformation would form a 'wrinkle' in reality, centered on the fiend and moving as the fiend moves. It might affect the environment--or creatures nearby-- in ways both subtle and overt, with the exact nature of the manifestation possibly offering clues about the fiend's traits.
A bigger wrinkle suggests a more potent monster.

That settles it, I think. He's Kat's back-up.
No Vistani meeting although he would have asked politely Benn to keep notes.

Well, it seems reasonable. I would wager that most descriptions of hell in Ravenloft would have ash and brimstone etc.
