Transylvanian Adventures by Land of Phantoms

Post by Alastor »

I'm curious if anyone has tried this supplement to the Dungeon Crawl Classics rules. The creator seems to have a strange antipathy to Ravenloft, but other than that it sounds as if it might be worth playing.
Above the conquered folk,
the draconic citadel
awaits rebellion.

Not the daimon, just a namesake.

Seems intriguing, I am always looking for ways to spice up the combat and flavor text. Is there a way to download/view these bits to see if they are worth the time? I couldn't see any.

It looks interesting, but I'd like to see some mechanics.

It's based on Dungeon Crawl Classics, and requires that to play, apparently. I'm not familiar with DCC beyond the fact that it requires a lot of unusual dice--it's one of the cases where the first ad actively unsold me on the game. :) So, I'm not sure how much of it would be useful with other rules sets, either other OSR games or games outside that family like BRP.
