Hit Die: D4+2
Weapons:
All Adepts are proficient in both simple weapons and handguns.

Class skills: Hypnosis (Cha), Knowledge (ancient languages, forbidden lore, history) (Int), and a choice of two other skills one being amongst Profession or Craft.
Skill points at each level: 3 + Int Mod

Arcane Weave (Ex):
A Metaphysician needs an Intelligence score of 10 + the level of the spell to learn and cast a spell.
Starting Spells:
Adepts begin with knowledge of Detect Magic and Read Magic spells, plus three 0-level spells and three 1st level spells.

Sixth Sense feat:
At 1st level, the Adept gains the Sixth Sense feat as a bonus.

Bonus feat:
At levels, 2, 5, 10, 15 and 20, the adept may choose a bonus metamagic feat of her choice or a feat from the following list: Arcane Strike, Augment Summoning, Find Familiar (Improved Familiar), Improved Counterspell, Magical Aptitude, Spell Focus (Greater Spell Focus), Spell Mastery, Spell Penetration (Greater Spell Penetration),

Eschew materials:
At level 4, the Adept gains the Eschew Materials feat. The usual chances for a Powers Check still apply for the use of a metamagic feat.

Bloodline Powers:
At 6th level, the Adept chooses a Bloodline that she shares an affinity with or belongs to. The character decides how she gains access to these abilities in conjunction with her DM. Did she strike a deal with an entity? Was her bloodline always tainted by some extra-planar being? Is the Adept a pawn of someone else? Was it through a ritual? Was it unwanted? Or worse, is it a total mystery to her?

She may choose a Bloodline amongst the following: Aberrant, Arcane, Celestial, Destined, Fey, and Infernal. She gains the Bloodline power of the 1st level. At 8th level, the Adept gains the 3rd level Bloodline power. And at 12th level, she gains the 9th level power.

Bloodline Spells:
At 9th level, the Adept gains the 3rd level spell associated to her bloodline as a bonus spell. At 11th level, she gains the 5th level one and at 16th level, she gains the 7th level spell.
