Breachsapce Setting for Comics and Fiction

Post by NunoXEI »

Hey all!

I wanted to share a site I've been working on to collect a bunch of stuff, both comic-related work, soon to be released fiction work, and possibly in the future RPG work. The setting is called "Breachspace" and its foundation is actually quite similar to the origin of Ravenloft. An event happens (eruption of the Hellmouth), and timelines and realities re-align to form a new world. Wrap that in the concept behind "planes of existence" (aka Planescape inspirations to cosmology) and you got the conceptual framework.

I've been developing a setting heavily over the last decade and I'm finally in a place in life to start dedicating resources to making things happen! The main project I'm producing right now is an 9-issue comic book series called "Raven Nevermore". It's set in a town called "Cog Town"--and for folks here, it's easier to use Ravenloft locations to help as references, so think Lamordia :). Eventually, I will be releasing Raven Nevermore page by page on the site first, likely before I start shopping it around at conventions and such.

The other series I've been able to get off the ground is a one-shot comic series released in a magazine produced in my town by one of the universities called Blueprint Magazine. It's takes a look a scenario within the Breachspace Setting that thematically ties with the magazines monthly theme. They are all free to view and read online and are called "The Beholder Series". For people here it will be very hard to NOT see the influence of Ravenloft within the one-shots!

Thanks for all who go and check the stuff out and I'm more than open to hear ideas, suggestions, reviews, thoughts, anything! that you have about anything! I just feel so excited to have found a community founded on Ravenloft after all these years, and I'm not quite sure why I never looked for it before!
