In the meanwhile, what did I do wrong with the Register?

I don't think you did anything wrong - it was one of your best collections ever.
I attribute it to the over all awsome-ness of Dave's article.

There probably is someone out there who hates dwarves and hates my take on dwarves and demihumans and I just hope that there's something in there that still strikes their fancy.
I was just philosophizing on writing in general. Every writer hopes that their worst critic still finds something of value in their work.
I think any "crtic" worth his salt should at least be able to pull out some of the "potentially great" ideas at at the very least. Okay, maybe you didn't like the treatment, but very VERY little out there is 100% bad. Even the CoD has the Highway Rider Prestige class, which I really like. :)

I'm just wondering if I should have spaced out the articles so Halflings wouldn't be ignored. ;)

I agree with ScS. It was a great collection Gemathustra. I voted for the dwarves just because I liked them more, not because your collection was bad. It was a great netzine and I enjoyed it much.
Even the not-voted-at-all articles were useful and nice reading.
Even the advertisement was good IMO!

I didn't like the advertisement personally. It felt out of place.

I'm still going over the articles, so I can't vote yet. However, I did enjoy the dwarves article.
