Weapon of legacy in ravenloft?

Post by Nox »

I just saw an old topic about this.
It was called Shadows and steel.
Today I took a look at the weapon of legacy, I find them interesting, but would those kind of items work in ravenloft?
Are those items too powerful?
Any of you use them in your campaign? Any home rule about them?
What do you think about those?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, I would highly recommend using the items of legacy presented in "Shadow and Steel."

Holy crap! You are the man who crafted those beautiful items!
I thought you were not on the forum anymore, and i did not see your name untill now!
I'm so glad you are still active!
Teach me master!
Would you be so kind to give me some advice so I can build some good legacy weapon like yours?

Edit: I cant find the Shadow and steel file, could you be so kind to link it to me? Thank you in advance

It takes a lot of preparation to create them, as well as having the "Weapons of Legacy" book itself.

As for "Shadow and Steel," try to download from this link.

Dion, has quite a bit of the stuff from your site been lost from your Midway Haven website? Can you post your links somewhere? I've tried to get it from archive.org but there are a lot of broken links. I have some of the newer stuff like Book of Storms and Worlds of Ravenloft.

Yeah it definitely isn't easy to creat them. Takes a while. Thanks for the download by the way.

Yeah, we often get requests from people who can't find some of your older stuff, Dion. If it's something I have or can find in archive.org, I pass it on, but sometimes I come up empty. We could host them here if you wish, in your own section, if it helps people find them.
