Spanish edition of "Scientific American" on Lavoisier

Post by Le Noir Faineant »

Hi all,

Just a quick shot. On a railway station, I bought the Special ("Thematic") Issue 64 of the Spanish edition of "Scientific American".

I have no idea if this was an issue made explicitly for the Spanish market, or if this was a page-by-page re-edition of an English original,
but I got to say it's awesome!

On around 100 pages, you get a comprehensive - although understandably not very in-depth, introduction into 18th century sciences.

Given how people here enjoy rococo-style gaming, be it in one of the mirror domains like Mordent and Lamordia,
or be it in d20 Past and MotRD games, this might come in handy for those who want to get better acquainted with the topic.

Be warned though that this is "just" an introduction, and probably not much deeper than a detailed wiki article would be.

But for me, I enjoyed the magazine, especially because of all the pictures and imagery,
and I prefer to have my books and resources bound and in quality print.

So, for those wanting to do some research, or simply looking for a good read, it might indeed be worth checking out!

Yours,

Rafe
