Trick and Treat! We're back!

Dear brothers in the Fraternity,

We hope you had a fun All Hallows Eve, and that you brushed your teeth after all those sugar coated insects.

Those that attended our Diner Party this last weekend are aware that there was a large scale invasion of the Manoir de Pénombre, our home in Ste Ronges. Massive necromantic forces moved upon us and the FoS was betrayed; the forces were led by the traitor, the now infamous Erik Van Rijn.

Our beloved Manoir has been destroyed and the Fraternity had fled!

After a long errand across the Core, we have settled for a temporary home in a Mansion in Souragne. We hope you will like our new home, some changes have been already and a few others should come soon once we finish refurbishing. This new Mansion was bought with hidden funds. The fact that it is bordered on one side by an antique cemetery probably explains the fact we could get our hands on it at this price. But it still requires a lot of work, the place is falling apart. As they say: something old, something new.

There are a few novelties to our Mansion we’d like to put to your attention:

- Our scholars just finished compiling the twelfth issue of Quoth the Raven. You can find it here. The appearance of this book has been updated; please feel free to give Stephen much praise for this professional work.

- Rucht Lilavivat threatened us with his Author’s Notes on Van Richten Guide to the Mists. These notes are very detailed, a must-read. Please find it here. It contains more news about the fate of the troublesome twins, of the infamous Natalia Vorishkova and more information on the ill-fated Van Richten’s Guide to the Serial Killers. This is to be stored in the Salon of our Mansion

- Also, we’d like to inform you that we will soon launch our own exploration of the Lands! This will be similar to the Doomsday Gazetteer rumoured to have been sponsored by Azalin. We plan to start with the islands in the Mist.
After the invasion, the Fraternity has to rebuild itself and we are looking for new allies in foreign places. The first place to be surveyed by this project is the swamp land of Souragne! Watch the common area for news on this project.

Please stay reassured that the Fraternity will try to bring you all the latest news for the land. This community will remain alive and well as long as people will want to explore the Mists.

Sincerely,

The Fraternity of Shadows,
Souragne

This is good news indeed. :) I wonder if there is any chance to roleplay the arrival of the Fraternity members to our new home? The people who participated in the role-playing weekend could probably write something in the epilogues thread, but what about the rest of us? Perhaps a new thread in Cafe de Nuit, describing the Mansion and allowing everyone to introduce his/her persona after the fateful events?

What do we have to do?
Write as S? I hope not.
Submit starting ideas and somebody develops them?

Hello mr alhoon,

You should read the thread about the Souragne project here on this board.

Shortly, you can submit ideas and, if you feel like it, you can develop them into texts.
