He scoffed to this prediction, and as an habit, took to send invite to dinner to each person he slayed, in one of his many duels he fought and won, against slighted husbands and fianceés; one day, he was so bold to invite the statue of Don Manuel Vicente de Petradura, on of his early victims, personally, after having intercourse on his tomb; when the statue accepted, he laughted, thinking it was an elaborated trick; but that night, the statue presented himself, and offered him to reciprocate the invitation. faced with the option of repent or face the unknown, he accepted the invitation, and was dragged, litterally, in the Dark Hell; but the Mists were not finished with him; after suffering agonizing torments in Hell, Don Juan Balthazar was returned to life, now the Darklord of Espinoza.

Current Sketches
He continue to live as a rake and a deboushed, but now, he is far more malicious; he can't get any pleasure without tormenting other persons, and so he do exactly that; his depravity, eventually catches up with him, and the Stone Guest returns, thing which he dreads, as his permanence in the Dark Hell every time fuel his nightmares for days; however his unrepetence is unchanged, and he expecially delghts in mocking the pure and righteous.

Combat
Against living beings, Don Juan Balthazar usually use his magic and combat abilities; against undeads or constricts, he usually flees or try to get someone to fight his battles.

Special Abilities:

Regeneration: Denied by natural attacks of Stone Golems or Undeads; he gets only non-lethal damage by other sources.

Magic Immunity: He is immune to any damage dealing spell wich is affected by Spell Resistence. He is also immune to any Death or Fear effect.

Curse of the Dark Lord:Juan Balthazar curse is t that he is unable to drive any pleasure from unforbidden, unharmful activities; he must steal the food and drink he has or pay it with stolen money; he must force himself on women or woe women destroyng theyr relationships; every time he doeas such a depravate action, however, the Black Clock which his servant always keep with himself go five minutes forward; when it reaches midnight the Stone Guest arrive to drag him in the Dark Hell; Even if the Guest is destroyed he will always come back after 24 hours. On a minor note, thanks to the curse, he is emasculated as long as long he does not kiss a Succubus or Doña Elvira once every other day. The first choise means furthering his debt with Karmenia, the econd means depending on the only woman he do not craves.

Undying Soul: Every time he dies, he is dragged in the Dark Hell; Next morrning he awakes screaming in his private cottage, the Hogar de Placeres, with the disgusting face of Leecherel the first thing he sees. Only killing Leecherel and dropping him in the Dark Hell together with his master, will they both be killed forever; however, only Don Juan Balthazar can kill Leecherel. Also Leecherel could forsake his generous pay and drop willingly the Black Clock in the Dark Hell, but the greedy little man will never do such a thing.

Lair:
The Hogar de Placeres is Juan Balthazar personal retreat; It is a Rank 2 Sinkhole of Evil with the Lust and Rage abilities (CD 22)

Closing the Border:
If someone try to cross the borders of Espinada when they are closed, a nauseating smell invades the area; It simple stink to much to allow anything else than reatreating. Juan Balthazar can close the Borders up to three days in a week.

As always feedback is wellcome. And sorry for eventual typos.

The People
Espinadians are a passionate lot; they seldom do anything without their heart in it. This goes for religion, too; however, the volatile nature of the Espinadians has lured many in from the mists, trying to diverge them from the path of salvation and drag their souls to the Dark Hell, leading to the rise of the Inquisition. Espinadians love strong and spicy tastes, and their food and drinks reflects this. Clothing habits change with status, but even peasants strive to look their best, making a point of keeping themselves clean and groomed. Because of Espinadian temperament, crimes of passion and brawls are a usual occurrence.

Background:
The long-desired and lateborn heir of the already Don Balthazar, Juan was raised in luxury, pampered and spoiled. At the age of ten he was sent as a page to the royal court, where he learned the art of the sword, becoming a fine duelist; there he also discovered his appetites for drinks, food and women. As a youth he was sweet-hearted and sensible, but his womanizing led him to Doña Carmen, who corrupted him further. His unholy relationship with the demoness turned him into one of the demon-bound, almost invulnerable, and in posses of unholy boons. In the wake of his increasing depredations, a vistana cursed him: "No living being shall be your demise, but a dead man you yourself slaughtered!" He scoffed at this prediction, and as a habit, made a point of sending invitations to dinner to each person he slayed in one of his many duels he fought and won. One day, he was so bold to invite the statue of Don Manuel Vicente de Petradura, one of his early victims, personally, after having intercourse on his tomb. When the statue accepted, he laughed, thinking it was an elaborate trick, but that night, the statue presented himself, and requested he reciprocate the invitation. Faced with the option of repentnance or facing the unknown, he accepted the invitation, and was dragged, literally, to the Dark Hell; but the Mists were not finished with him. After suffering agonizing torments in Hell, Don Juan Balthazar was returned to life, now the Darklord of Espinoza.

Current Sketches
He continue to live as a rake and a debauchee, but now, he is far more malicious; only in tormenting and ruining others, particularly the pure and righteous, does he gain any pleasure, and so he do exactly that. Eventually his depravity catches up with him, and the Stone Guest returns to take him to the Dark Hell-- a dreaded event as his torments fuel his nightmares for days. Amazingly, in the face of this he still will not repent.

Combat
Against living beings, Don Juan Balthazar usually uses his magic and combat abilities; against undeads or constructs, he usually flees or gets others to fight for him.

Special Abilities:

Regeneration: All damage he takes is converted to nonlethal damage, unless inflicted by a Construct or Undead being.

Magic Immunity: He is immune to any damage dealing spell which is affected by Spell Resistance. He is also immune to any Death or Fear effect.

Curse of the Dark Lord: Juan Balthazar's curse is that he is unable to derive any pleasure from unforbidden, unharmful activities. He must steal for the luxuries he desires; he must rape or seduce women, destroying their relationships. Every time he does such depravities, however, the Black Clock which his servant always keeps on his person advances five minutes; when it reaches midnight the Stone Guest arrives to drag him tothe Dark Hell. Even if the Guest is destroyed he will always come back after 24 hours. On a minor note, the curse also renders him impotent unless he kisses Karmenia or Doña Elvira once every other day. Thus his sexual enjoyment is dependent either on becoming more entangled with the succubus or dallying with a woman who does not arouse him.
Undying Soul: Every time he dies, he is dragged to the Dark Hell. The next morning he awakes screaming in his private cottage, the Hogar de Placeres, with the disgusting face of Leecherel the first thing he sees. Killing Leecherel and dropping him in the Dark Hell together with his master would destroy them both; however, only Don Juan Balthazar can kill Leecherel. Leecherel could also forsake his service and willingly drop the Black Clock in the Dark Hell, but the greedy little man will never do such a thing.

Lair:
The Hogar de Placeres is Juan Balthazar's personal retreat; it is a Rank 2 Sinkhole of Evil with the Lust and Rage abilities (CD 22)

Closing the Border:
If someone tries to cross the borders of Espinada when they are closed, a nauseating smell pervades the area; the reek is so awful that they are forced to retreat. Juan Balthazar can close the borders up to three days in a week.

Excellent; If you could cancel Caliban from Valido Don Doming-Velasquez y Serrano's entry, I would be gratefull; it was my mistake, he is a Human not a Caliban. What do you think about the domain, a part for typos and grammar?

Edits are done. And the domain isn't bad, though it was kind of hilarious when last night's classical radio opera program decided they were going to play Don Giovanni....

Well, I suppose that the main source of inspiration was very clear, than. He always struck me as a pretty gothic character.
